Penni's Philosophy

I believe everyone is doing the best they can.

I believe you matter. What you are passionate about matters. How you live and what you choose matters.
I believe that if you matter to yourself, you’ll have the biggest possible impact on the world around you and you will live your best life.
I believe your habits determine your future. If you keep doing what you’re doing, you’ll keep getting the same results. Is that what you want?
I believe there’s a time to organize and a time to declutter; don’t confuse the two.

Eat and hydrate before you tackle your project. A little chocolate can go a long way too.
Have a dream. Pursue it, small steps or big steps. Weave it into your daily life.
Do your project in bites: set up, work, clean up every time.
Go out and play.
Someone else’s idea of being decluttered or organized may not work for you. You have a set point of what feels right to you. Trust it.
If you are living with another person who is less (or more) organized than you, you have options, but changing them is not one of those options.
I declutter for everyday people with real circumstances and real lives. Real people with pets, families, spouses, businesses, relatives, belongings, histories and dust.
Just know, when a professional organizer or declutter coach looks at your piles, they are not judging you. They work with the knowledge that something took you off track and they are there to help you get back on track again.
